Why do we give our members the option to earn money?

We want our community to absolutly explode, we value your membership and want to give you something in return!

How are the earnings calculated?

First you earn points around the website for doing certain things, those points will be used when calculating your earnings.

We then calculate your earnings based on a proprietary model that rewards quality contributions. This is too ensure a high level of quality and less junk.

What is a quality score?

Each member has a quality score used when calculating your earnings, meaning if you try to game the system your earnings could end up being lower then everyone elses.

If you quality score remains low due to you trying to abuse the system and we continue to recieve complaints from members your account will be terminated.

How Do I Get Paid?

You will get paid monthly with a minimum account balance of $10. You have the option to increase your minimum payment to $25, $50 or $100. All payments will be in US dollars and made via PayPal, depending on the country you reside in. All users will be required to have a valid PayPal account. EziHippo is not responsible for any fees incurred in the payment process (i.e. translation fees, taxes, bank fees, credit card fees, PayPal fees, etc.)

While we would love to pay everyone, regulations set forth by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), an office of the US Treasury, prohibits us from sending money to certain countries. The good news is users from all countries will still be able to participate. The bad news is users from countries included on the OFAC list will not be able to earn money for their contributions.

PayPal Account/Payments

All you have to do if you already have an account is enter your account information into your EziHippo account preferences. Please make sure the information is completely filled out and the information is correct. We will hold payments if this information is inaccurate.
You are responsible for any and all taxes and fees that are associated with the EziHippo payment that you receive.

Referrals

For each person you send to EziHippo you will receive a bonus equal to 25% of their points.
Updating of Earnings

EziHippo has a 24 hour earnings period from midnight to midnight in the United States Central Standard Time, based on time zone differences your earnings may not update when you think they should and may be a day earlier or later. EziHippo tries to have earnings updated around the same time each day, however some days it may be earlier or later.

If you are using EziHippo and you notice that the earnings have not updated, please be patient as we assure you they will be updated or EziHippo will send out an alert to update the community to the issue at hand.

It is not necessary to post anywhere on the site about your earnings not updating. If your earnings are not up to date, then nobody's earnings are up to date.

If you think there is a real issue concerning your earnings that we have not noticed or it pertains only to you, please contact EziHippo if your earnings have not updated within a 48 hour period.
From time to time it is necessary for EziHippo to recalculate earnings for the month to curb users trying to game the system. Our proprietary earnings algorithm periodically recalculates all estimated daily earnings for the previous month to take into account contributions that have been deleted in the abuse and moderation processes.

During the recalculation of earnings some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. Any money deducted from users due to our abuse and moderation processes is then reallocated to EziHippo users based on certain qualitative factors. Due to this, earnings will fluctuate.

EziHippo members who have a decrease in earnings have had one or more contributions deleted throughout the month. The main reason for this could be that you violated our guidelines or terms.

Please become familiar with our EziHippo Guidelines and Terms of Use to avoid the possibility of having your contributions deleted in the abuse and moderation processes. EziHippo does not reward low-quality contributions, or even worse, attempts to game the earnings algorithm.

Remember, your earnings are all estimated until paid.

Our terms of use state that if you don't login to your account at least once over a 90 day/3 month consecutive period of time your earnings are forfeited. Please remember to login at least once every 90 days.
